About Rebecca Carter — founder of Copy That! Media

I'm Rebecca Carter — an accredited copywriter with a solid background in journalism and over a decade of experience in marketing communications.

From writing website and social media copy to designing billboard ads and promotional leaflets, I’ve delivered a wide range of creative campaigns for clients. My full list of services can be found here. 

While I have extensive experience in the education sector, my skills are highly transferable and I am equally adept at working across a wide range of other industries.

Journalism

When I'm not copywriting, I'm working in print production, sub-editing a national newspaper. 

I have held senior editorial roles across a diverse range of print publications, from co-running a hyperlocal news magazine in south Bristol, to sub-editing national magazines covering a whole range of topics. 

In recent times, I have freelanced as a sub-editor for a major regional newspaper group, and taught as an associate lecturer on the Media Production degree at the University of the West of England in Bristol.
